DUTIES: Performs one or more of the following duties: Sweeps, mops, Scrubs, strips, waxes, and polishes floors using heavy (industrial-type) powered scrubbers and buffers. Vacuum cleans rugs, using heavy (industrial-type) vacuum cleaner. Keeps rest rooms in clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Empties and washes trash cans. Removes debris from inside and outside of facility. Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap. Maintains a stock of cleaning materials and equipment and notifies supervisor when more are needed. Irregular working hours will be required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays. Performs other related duties as required.


  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Knowledge of a variety of chemical and cleaning agents.
  • Skill and ability to use a variety of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs to equipment and building.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprints identifications and completion of background inquiry forms.
