CUSTODIAL WORKER - NGIS - NA-3566-02

DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to provide adequate and timely custodial services to the lodging operation. Performs custodial duties as required inside and outside of buildings. Cleans all lobbies, passageways, stairwells, laundry rooms, public restrooms, and other common use areas in and around buildings. Loads, unloads, and relocates heavy, bulky items. Irregular working hours will be required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays. Performs deep cleaning as required. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a US citizen or a bona fide resident (green card holder)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to apply general knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper  use of cleaning equipment and approved, commonly used chemicals (including MSDS) and adherence to basic safety policies is required.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor as unassisted lifting, moving and carrying of supplies and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds is required.
  • Assisted lifting, moving and carrying up to 100 pounds is required.
  • Required to possess a valid state driver license.
  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprints identifications and completion of National background inquiry forms.
