NGIS FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE - NF-0303-02

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  This position is located at the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites operation. The purpose of this position is to perform front desk and/or reservation functions for the lodging program. This position will require working days, nights, weekends and holidays, as well as, rotating shifts, often consisting of other than normal duty hours.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Must be a US citizen or a bona fide resident (green card holder)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred 6 months’ work experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic principles, concepts, standards and regulations related to hospitality operations.
  • Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and various software programs.
  • Must possess basic math and reading skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprints identifications and completion of National background inquiry forms.
