About the Mainside Fitness Center

Mainside Fitness Center is a state of the art fitness center, and is boasted as one of the best facilities in the Navy by its patrons. It is equipped with a wide range of strength training equipment, including dumbbells, barbells, fixed bars, cable machines, and cardio machines, with a spacious group area and full locker rooms. The NOFFS Room is a functional training hub, featuring barbells, bumper plates, kettlebells, battle ropes, and cardio erg machines, with an additional outdoor training space for strength and cardio workouts. Outdoor facilities include a 50m lap pool, four tennis courts (currently being renovated to be combo tennis and pickleball), two outdoor basketball courts (currently being renovated with new flooring and hoops), a 2.5-mile running trail, a multi-purpose field with a quarter-mile track, and both synthetic and dirt softball fields.

The Fitness Center also supports organized sports and recreational activities, including intramural leagues, Captain’s Cup events, and open leagues for both team and individual sports.

Beyond exercise, the Mainside Fitness Center helps build community by giving people opportunities to train together, meet others, and stay motivated while improving their overall health and readiness.

    • Price/session: $30
    • Active Duty receive 6 free training sessions
  • Group Fitness Classes
    • Available for all eligible patrons
    • Can adjust to any fitness level
    • Zumba, Family Fitness, Physical Readiness, Spin, Yoga
